Kaylee turned 6 on the 10th. She has been looking forward to this birthday for a while. She is the only 1st grader she knows that is 5. A classmate party is what she decided on with a horse theme. We had 13 first graders at our house. We painted wooden horses and horseshoes. Played pin the tail on the horse, and a few other fun games.
No party is complete without food. After the long awaited pizza was gone, I was proud to pull out the cake. Usually decorating cakes are not my strength, but happily this one turned out!! Kaylee liked it and that is what counts!!

Happy birthday. That was a NICE cake - I can see why you took a picture! And I admire your bravery at taking that many 1st graders into your home.
